Christmas Eve!
I’ll post separately because I have so many pictures. But here’s one of my favorites from the day.

Merry Christmas! 🎄
I’ll post separately for this too, but here are a few favorites from the day.
Tuesday, December 26
Lee wore his new red metcons to the gym this am and was very excited about it. He kept saying he was “powering up and energizing” when he laced them up and walked around in them.
After the gym we stayed home so the kids could play with their new toys and we could rest. Sarah came over and we got to sit and talk for a bit and it was glorious!
Olive got to ride on the autobots.
She really loves her car seat and stroller. She struggles to carry the car seat, Sarah pointed out that she’s learning how awkward they are to carry and taught her how to hook it on her arm. Then she tried to push her stroller hooked on her arm too which didn’t quite work out the same.
We were so excited to listen to our new album on our new record player.
Olive got a new bib, one that ties in the back, with the hope she couldn’t rip it off. It took her a few meals but she ultimately ended up figuring out how to escape out of it.
Olive took a very long nap (after not much sleep on Christmas Eve or Christmas) and woke with the best curls! I tried to capture them but couldn’t really because she was a bit sad- she could hear Lee wrestling the boys and was feeling some FOMO.
Auntie Janet got the boys these super cool fan balls that fly when you toss them and light up. They’re obsessed with them!
My mom sent this picture of me and some cousins (missing Sarah and Amanda who weren’t born yet) with my grandmother.
I zoomed in on me (on the right) because I see so much of Olive.

We stayed home from the gym this am so we could have a slow morning. I caught a little cold on Tuesday so I didn’t feel too great. We stayed home and rested all day again and the boys played and Sarah came over and joined us. I told Lee I love these slow days after Christmas, playing with the kids and watching them play. They’re my favorite. There’s stuff everywhere, and I try to be ok with it so that the kids can not stress or worry about cleaning up and can lavish in just playing.
Auntie Sarah is the best. The way she invests in them is such a gift. She brought her Pokemon cards and traded with them for so long. They all had fun and I loved getting to watch her love on them so intentionally.
I asked Olive if I could take a picture of her and her baby and she walked over like this and posed this way on purpose. 😂

Back to the gym! I felt better and this workout was so much fun.
My strong girl!
After the gym, Lee took this while I showered and it makes me laugh. So many babies!
It’s safe to say Olive loves her Barbie’s.
We had another low key day, playing and Lego building together.
Friday, December 29
Tea party with my girl.
I was telling my friend Krista about the time Luca and I took Lee to see Santa, so I took these to show her both boys first visits. The 2014 one is a forever favorite that makes me laugh every year, so I think it deserves a spot here.
She still loves to hold daddy’s hand while she eats.
When we put our record on, Olive immediately starts swaying and then praising. And if you’re not, she’ll encourage you to join in.
Luca made this out of paper and I think it’s so cool!
Earlier in the week, Lee made (he drew it all) this poster while Luca made one of his own. Lee gave it to Jack and it’s hanging above his bed. I noticed at bedtime that he saved the two Christmas trees I made from Isaiah 9 and he hung those above his bed too.
Saturday December 30
Olive and her pal Ashton.
I love her smile here. She was so cute talking to him and pointing at him.
My handsome guy. 🥰
We finished building our Lego sets this day! I built with Jack (no picture of our finished ski slope) and Lee built with Luca.
We had a family dinner and movie night and it was so fun! It was so nice to have time like that together, getting to watch a new movie (which the boys, Luca especially, loves when the movie is one we haven’t seen before).
