They were giving away ice cream after church, which was so fun. The boys chose fudgsicles.
I didn't realize until after we got home but our shoes matched! So we took some pictures together.
Then we spontaneously worshipped together. Every time I worship, she sings and raises her arm too. It was neat that Lee was still behind us and took some pictures of this moment. Teaching her (and the boys) about Jesus is the best gift.
She smiles when asked and I am obsessed.

So happy to be in daddy’s arms.
After lunch, we took my car to get the oil changed with our favorite car guy. Getting to see Josh on a Monday felt like such a treat.
The dealership has a kid waiting area with gaming chairs that the boys loved. Jack tipped back freely with his feet in the air more than not and Luca cautiously tipped back one time. Then, they played all sorts of games with those chairs. Fort, tunnel, boxing ring, zoo, etc. I was cracking up as I watched.

After lunch I dropped the boys off to help my dad do some yard work. My mom took them to the pool after my dad finished.
Olive and I had some time just the two of us after her nap, before they got back.
After dinner we went for a walk- it was beautiful out! Not too hot and we even had a cool breeze. Olive is obsessed with that stuffed animal, “kitty kat.” It used to be enough to snuggle it before nap/bedtime. But lately, it goes where she goes and she doesn’t let go.

The boys did such a good job cleaning their half of Olive’s room. They were silly and fun and worked hard.
Luca’s laughing smiles and Jack’s silliness in this series are the best.
Jack came in and asked Olive if he could play Barbie’s with her. 🥰
Sending Uncle Josh a picture of a Batman Lego set from the catalog we thought he’d like.

Olive treats her “kitty kat” like her baby. She was sad this am that she couldn’t keep it with her while she ate.
She recently learned how to blow kisses which is the sweetest thing to watch her implement in her daily life. Like if we’re saying bye to someone, she’ll blow them a kiss in her own.
Gym for me then a workout for the boys.
Making lunch with a free range Olive who has a new found love for the garbage can.
Last week a friend told us about a summer library program that alternates every Thursday afternoon between Pokemon club and Lego club. This day was the first Pokémon club and the boys were beyond excited. They asked to listen to the Pokemon theme song on repeat as we drove there.
They loved it so much; they said it exceeded their expectations. And they traded for some cards they were so excited about. I loved watching them; their joy was contagious. I loved watching them in their element and socializing with peers/navigating through it all.
This girl loved it too. She walked around like the mayor, happily talking with her constituents. It was hysterical! She would laugh and squeal and was just so joyful and social. There was one boy around her age crawling and he kept coming over to her and staring. 😂 She walked around so well, walking towards all the moms to say hello. At one point, she blew a double handed kiss- as if throwing it out to her fans! I didn’t even know she knew how to do that. Towards the end, another baby let out a big yell and Olive immediately yelled out back. Almost as if to excitedly say, “yes! I am here and I understand you! You speak my language!”

Lee goes to the early gym class and this am he got the boys a surprise treat and left it in the car for us to find when we left.
After the workout I realized Jack was wearing two different shoes. He said he couldn’t find the other but I think he just like to be different and fun. Because his shoes are all in a bin by the door. When I asked to take his picture he said sure and then put his headphones around his neck. 😂
Olive spent some time with her bestie Miss Krista.
Krista and I couldn’t get enough of her little Nike outfit, she took these and sent them to me. Olive got quite the workout in with that water bottle. Thankfully, she was dressed for it.
Two strong girls dressed to get things done.
My mom came over for a bit around lunchtime to play a Pokemon game with the boys (per their request). She brought Olive sneakers Auntie Marcia sent and a doll from my mom and my dad. Olive is obsessed with both the shoes and the doll (and the doll’s shoes!).
She can hold that squat for so long!
I had taken her new shoes off and she went right over to them and tried to put them back on. I guess she’s a shoe girl like her momma.
In an effort to make me laugh, these two dressed as each other and traded places, one acting like the other.
Daddy’s done with work!
We had our first food fight this night. It was spontaneous and so fun! It started because Olive flipped her plate upside down and then I threw it like a frisbee at Lee. Then we just started whipping food at each other laughing. The boys came running and immediately joined in.

Two babies in bows.
After we got home from the gym, my mom came and picked up the boys and took them with her to the store and the pool. We went over after we ate lunch, late afternoon. We celebrated Father’s Day with my parents, and with Josh, Abby, and Evie too! Such a treat to get to see Josh for his first Father’s Day- a day he’s longed to celebrate for so long.
My mom had scallops in bacon as an appetizer and Olive loved them! Last week she ate lobster and this week scallops. She has quite the fine palate.
Strawberry besties.
