Olive’s hair is getting so long and her ponytail made me laugh this am.
The way she looks at her Nana though.
After lunch we had to bring my car in to get checked because my check engine light came on. It was a shift to our day but it meant we got to see my brother unexpectedly too. And that is always a welcomed treat. He went above and beyond for me, inconveniencing his day so I didn’t have to inconvenience mine. The way he loves and gives and thinks of others is so heartfelt and like Jesus. And on top of all of that he is so funny and fun. He’s the best of the best and I’m so grateful for him.
Luca sat there like that waiting for us and it made me laugh.
The boys made the kid area their own.
Olive really wanted what I was eating, but I couldn’t share because she couldn’t chew it/eat it safely. And she was deeply sad about it. Her sad face is killer! Her daddy lasts approximately .2 seconds when she gives him that face and then caves. Can you blame him?!
Back at home to attempt a late nap with a fixed car and a full heart overflowing with gratitude for my brother.
They fill his lap!

Olive used her dumbbell while I used mine in the metcon. She sees and picks up on so much while she watches all of us workout each day and I’m so grateful. She walks around and squats and I love it. I’m determined for her to know and believe just how strong she is and can be. My sweet friend Krista took these of us and I’m so grateful because I love them!
Dumbbell cheers!
After we squat cleaned together she tucked her dumbbell under her chin and walked away. I guess she still has a bit to learn.
Every time she is free range, she goes straight for the barbell and plates. A girl after my own heart.
Back at home Jack made a really cool Lego guy. When I took this of the creation we laughed at how it looked like he had a mustache.
After a day of chores and play, we went to my parents where Lee mowed and then we ate dinner together. We weren’t planning on that but I was so grateful for it.
Back at home Lee gave Luca a haircut and he kept waving and smiling so sweetly at me through the door as I nursed Olive. He kept signaling that he loved me as he stood there and I tried to capture his smile because I want to remember it forever.
The boys asked if they could build forts to sleep in and have a “brother sleepover” so we figured out how to make that work this night. They were SO excited. Which is funny because they literally share a room every night. Either way, I loved their excitement and I love their bond. Luca ended up going to his bed once he got tired but Jack happily stayed in his bed tent.

After the gym we ran to Whole Foods. Then we went home to put everything away, shower, etc while Olive napped.
This picture captures how sweet Jack is. He always stands back quietly, patiently waiting his turn. Which I didn’t realize in this moment until he walked up and said, “my turn!” I love his heart and I get so proud when he uses his voice to say what he’s thinking/wants (answered prayer!).
I screenshot this to send to Lee but never did because he was napping when I found it. 😂
Olive was up a good bit this night. She was hungry and cutting molars so starting to get congested because of it. And likely in some pain too. Poor girl.
