After church, we went across the street to a playground. Olive loooved it. She went back and forth between the seesaw (first with Luca then with Jack) and the slide.
We tried putting her on her own bouncy horse and she wanted no part of it. She only wanted to sit on one with her brothers.
Luca looked extra big as he held, picked up, sat with Olive.
Once we got home I put my phone down and tried to be intentional with rest. The boys made a fort to eat dinner in. Their little bums sticking out made me laugh.

Lee’s dad sent this to him and he sent it to me. Such a little cutie!!
Olive is still obsessed with these blocks. She carries the bag over and yells until I open it. She did that waiting for me again, sitting in our spot.
She loves to join us, sit on us, touch what we’re using during reading. The boys are amazing with her as she does, they never lose their cool or get frustrated. They speak so kindly and gently to her, always willing to be interrupted by her. This afternoon she joined me and Luca under a blanket while we read and she was so curious about the blanket being over her body. She kept looking under it, touching her feet from above it, etc. It was fascinating to watch!
Jack walked out from his room and saw us and went “aww!” And then offered to take our picture.
I got to have a car date with Lee after we dropped our car off at the shop. It felt like a treat! My parents watched the kids to help us so we could get our car in to be checked.
Helping daddy make dinner, because she refuses to be with mommy when daddy is around. And Lee is in charge of making the pasta because he’s better at it than me.

Since we didn’t have our car, we missed the gym this am. Luca wanted to create a costume for the start of school. He was Frozone from the Incredibles.
Luca gathered things to give to Olive as a gift, she was most excited for the sunglasses.
He also gave her a daddy shirt, one of her very own. He also explained to her what it was and why she might want it (the boys wear them to bed when they miss Lee).
We got our car back by lunch time, it was fixed, and was free! Which meant we made it to football. It was quite muddy 😂

CC day! This am our family shared at morning meeting. We led the pledge, shared about ourselves, and then prayed over the day. Lee was off so he and Olive came too!
I stay with Jack when we split for the mornings because he wants me with him and Luca doesn’t want me with him. Jack presented his yo-yo this day and I already see growth in him from last week to this in his confidence to speak in front of a group.
Our science experiment.
After CC, I managed to sneak out to the 4 pm gym class. After class, I rode the bike for a bit.
