No sleepsack. No pants. No nap.
This day felt extra hard to get things done. She didn’t nap and she likes to do this. With every cabinet/shelf. Which is fine, just hard to teach math while chasing after her.
Coffee/cupcake shop with my girl.
Until she got more interested in tidying up than playing.
She’s on her way to making an excellent hostess!
I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that the boys have a harder time focusing on Thursdays, the day after our CC day. With emotions high, focus low, and attitudes struggling I decided to switch it up a bit and let them create. They spent (Luca especially) hours creating. And when they were done their moods were so much better. SO much better. And we got through the lessons we needed to successfully. I was grateful I made that call, and that Lee encouraged me to.
Jack made the sewers for his TMNT toys to play in using straws.
Luca needs his own art studio. He can create for daysssss!
Sleepsack around her belly 😂 Thankfully she napped this afternoon.

I entered my first ever CrossFit competition and the qualifier workouts start this week. This is the first one.
Cutie girl. She loves to do what we’re doing. We were trying to read Luca’s book for school and Olive was determined to hold it and wouldn’t let it go. Luca, so thoughtfully, ran into his room and grabbed a book that looked just like the one we were reading and that worked to make the swap. She was happy and didn’t fully realize we made a change and Luca got his reading lesson done.
She takes reading with us very seriously.
Luca gave me this drawing and I put it on my planner. Every time I looked at it, I was so impressed.
Saturday, September 30
We didn’t have to rush out quite as early this morning, so it was a slower breakfast/play time than usual.
I love how much she loves to eat and try new things and is always interested in trying what we’re eating.
Luca had a game 45 minutes away that overlapped with the timing of Jack’s game so we had to divide and conquer. I missed getting to watch Luca, but Lee sent me good videos and pictures.
Back at home, Jack ate his lunch over a book and I’ll never stop loving that image.
Jack is in the bright yellow green cleats. He pulled his first flag during this game! He excitedly held it up like a trophy and looked over at me after the play.
After Jack’s game I snuck away for a few hours with my mom to have lunch and window shop. It was beautiful outside and it was so nice to get to walk around the shops outside leisurely with my mom.
