He is risen! Hallelujah!
I put pictures and notes in a separate post.

Back squat day with my best girl, front and center.
We had a low key day picking up the house after Easter and resting. I didn’t plan school for this day to extend our weekend for a longer break.
She loooves books and will sit and look at them for so long!

I haven’t been feeling 100%, unsure if it was allergies, viral, or just overdoing it I chose to miss the gym this am and sleep for as long as I could instead.
Olive loves to play with her Barbie’s. She especially loves that cookie sheet (purple tray in her hand)- putting it in and taking it out of the oven. We were playing and I asked if Audrey (we named all of her Barbie’s) wanted one. Audrey is the red haired girl who was swimming when I asked, and Olive took the cookie tray, grabbed Audrey from the pool and put the cookie tray to her mouth!!! I was shocked! She understood everything I said! Then fed her other Barbie’s cookies as I said “which other friends want one?” Olive then took a bite for herself and when I asked if I could have one, she immediately shared.
She also still loooooves a protein shaker cup. I got her her own (empty one) because I was trying to drink mine and she was getting grabby.
Cheers!
We love love love Bob Goff around here. We read Dream Big for Kids this day and then the boys were inspired to start working on their dreams.
Our lunch walk was full of lizard catching attempts.
My coach texted me this and it made me laugh out loud. There were wallballs in the workout today (wallballs are my least favorite movement).
Pre nap snuggles.
Luca and Jamya are pen pals and he loves reading her letters back to him. I loved his serious face while he read. She asked him some good questions in her letter, so after he finished reading it he announced, “ooo this is gonna be a good letter to write back!”
I was looking through pictures from Easter and every time I saw this one I just felt so overwhelmed with gratitude to get to do life and raise these kids beside Lee. He’s such a gift and I love him so much. I also love his beard. 😍

When I first started CrossFit, I couldn’t push press 55#. This day, I strict pressed 77# for 5 sets of 2! So cool to see tangible growth.
Chiro scans for these cuties. Luca had us laughing so hard while we waited.
My sweet girl.
This is how she feels about dancing; she loves it!
It’s wild to see how big the boys are and how small Olive is as they played side by side.

We all love getting to see Nana at the chiropractor. It’s short but we love every second of that bonus time with her.
Her outfit killed me this day. 😍
How she feels about daddy working from home. Same, girl.
Just playing Barbie’s, per usual.
We made a birthday video for Emerson and Olive cheesed so hard!

Gym. I was super pumped I did this workout as written and didn’t modify the machine calories, especially after round 3. I kept thinking “I can’t do this, I need a rest minute” but I kept forcing myself to move my legs and I did it. It’s wild to see the mental vs. physical battle.
Luca tried chicken Parmesan and pasta with red sauce the other night for dinner. He didn’t care for the chicken (yet), but loved the pasta and kept asking for it so I made him some for our lunch this day. He had two helpings! I’m so proud and excited!! The list of things he eats is growing, praise Jesus!
Jack sat and played with Olive for a while and she soaked it right up. She literally laughed and beamed the entire time they played. She doesn’t do that when Lee or I play with her. My favorite part of their play was hearing Jack ask her Barbie if she wanted to go to the mall and then when the pool party turned into a pool fight. Boys.
I went through the last year in photos for Olive’s birthday next week and man I wish I could snuggle her tiny self like this and smell her newborn breath just one more time.
So tiny!
Sweet girl woke a few times in the night this night. Sweet snuggle bug.

There was a lot of running programmed into the workout this day so we asked my parents if they could watch Olive (and the boys since they would want to stay with them too, especially if Olive was) and they did. We were so grateful.
Lee and I dropped them off and got to workout together then run to grab a grocery order.
After that, I cleaned while they played. Then we had a pizza picnic for dinner.
